Even if，Even though，Even so 字典意思都有{即使}的意思， 但是都不一樣，不能互換使用。怎麼個不一樣法呢？

Even though : despite the fact that (儘管事實是如此)

 Even though is used to express a fact, something that is real or true.
It means ‘despite/in spite of’ the fact.

用來描述事實（一件事情已經做了，且為真實的）。
意思和{ despite 或 in spite of + 事實 } 一樣。
比although和though這兩個字更加強語氣 (強調)。
文法上，even though可以和不同動詞時態搭配使用。

例句：

Even though she was angry with him, she said nothing. 
(= Although / though she was angry with him, she said nothing.)
儘管她很氣他，她什麼都沒說。

Even though she likes animals, Mary doesn’t want a dog.
(Mary likes animals, but in spite of that she doesn’t want a dog.) 
儘管她喜歡動物，她並不想要養狗。

Even though I was invited to the party, I didn’t go.
雖然我有受邀到派對，但是我沒有去。

I will work overtime this weekend even though I don’t want to.
即使我不想，但是這個週末我還是會加班。

Even if : whether or not

 Even if is mainly used to talk about unreal or imaginary situations.

主要是用來講述一個非真實或是想像的情境(假設的情形)。 通常用來說你將會做的事情(未來)，就算之後發生了和計畫中相違背的情況，你還是會這麼做。

例句：

I won’t work overtime this weekend even if my boss asks me to.
就算老闆叫我這週末加班，我也不會去加班的。

Even if I become millionaire, I will always lead a simple life.
即使我將來成了百萬富翁，我還是會過著簡約生活。
(說話者尚未成為百萬富翁，是假設的情形)

‍如果上面這句，改成了Even though呢？
Even though he is a millionaire, he leads a simple life. 
(= Although he is a millionaire, he leads a simple life.)
說話者已經是名百萬富翁(真實情況)， 他仍然過著簡約生活。

Even so:

 Even so，用來表達一個令人驚訝或是不預期的結果。後面接續的是一個事實的陳述。等於 Although that is true….，或 nevertheless。

例句：

She is loud and unfriendly. Even so, I like her.
她很吵又不友善。即使如此，我還是喜歡她。
(她很吵又不友善，所以期待的結果應該會是"不喜歡"她，結果竟然是喜歡！有出乎意料的感覺)

Her English wasn’t very good but even so she managed to explain the problem.
雖然她英文不是很好，但是她還是成功地用英文解釋了這個問題。
