 Care for someone

When we say care for someone, it generates the meaning that you feel strongly about someone. 

1. care for + someone，表示你對某人有強烈的感覺，可能是家人朋友的愛或是伴侶(包含愛情的關係)。例句：I care for you a lot.
2. 但是當我們用在護士身上，或是某些情形下，care for 的意思就和1不同了。這邊的care不是指情感上，而是指 take care of照顧或是提供或是協助對方需要的東西。例句： The children are being cared for by a relative.

Care for something

care for + something，表示對某件事的喜好，且通常是在表達負面的意見。例句：I didn’t care for the movie。我不喜歡這部電影。

Care about + something/someone

It highlights that the individual is important to us. 
表示這件事或是這個人對你很重要，很重視某人或某事。
例句：I care about you.
